Domestic Water
Billing & Account Questions
Have your service address and the bill you are asking about ready when you contact us. You can pay by check payable to Cascade View Estates Water System LLC mailed to PO Box 394, Cle Elum, WA 98922.
Bills are issued quarterly for the previous quarter. Payment is due when you receive the bill, and a bill is late 15 days after it is mailed (18 days if mailed from out of state). A late charge of 2% of the unpaid balance or $2.50, whichever is greater, is added for each month a bill remains unpaid. See tariff Rules 13 and 14 for the complete terms and the Domestic Water page for rates.

Irrigation Water
Billing & Account Questions
Have your service address and any irrigation bill you are asking about ready when you contact us.
Irrigation service is separate from domestic water service. Contact us to confirm irrigation rates, how charges are calculated, billing dates and payment instructions. Domestic water tariff rates do not describe irrigation charges.
Irrigation rates, billing terms, taxes and additional fees are awaiting confirmation.
Moving, Buying Or Renting A Property
Contact us to discuss a change of ownership, account information or a service request. Include the property’s service address, your contact information and the date of the proposed change.
Under the linked tariff, the property owner is responsible for water service fees even when the property is rented. Prospective customers must complete the Utility’s application; new customers also require a cross-connection survey.

Leaks, Low Pressure Or Interrupted Service
Call 509-674-9642 to report a service problem. Provide the service address, what you are observing and when it started.
The tariff places responsibility for pipes and fixtures after the Point of Delivery on the customer. The Point of Delivery is generally the property line, even if the meter is located elsewhere by agreement. Customer-side pipes and fixtures must be maintained and protected from freezing at the customer’s expense.
If you repair a leak on your side of the Point of Delivery, you may qualify for a bill adjustment under tariff Rule 30. Send us a plumber's or contractor's bill or other proof of the repair. The excess water for up to two months is recalculated using one-half of the usage blocks and rates. This adjustment is available once every 24 months.

Winter Protection & Seasonal Shutoff
Protect the pipes and fixtures on your side of the Point of Delivery from freezing. Contact us if you would like to arrange a seasonal turn off or turn on.
A seasonal shutoff does not stop monthly billings and charges. Seasonal turn off or turn on is billed at $85.00 per hour (tariff Schedule X), and the tariff asks the customer to be present when service is turned back on.

Backflow Protection
Contact us before connecting household plumbing to another water source or a potential source of contamination. The tariff requires written permission and compliance with the Utility’s cross-connection criteria.
If an approved backflow prevention assembly is installed, it must be tested annually by a certified Backflow Assembly Tester. Provide the annual test report to the Utility.
